We ask people to check our Terms & Conditions policy prior to booking our tours. By making a purchase, booking, or using any of our products and services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Cancellation Policy as it is outlined herein. Athens Historic Experiences reserves the right to change/ modify booking conditions at any point before you confirm your booking. Our policies and their terms may be changed or updated at the discretion of the Company. In such cases, the updated policies and terms will apply to all services booked after the date and time the changes are published on our website.
Reservation Policy, Payments and Terms of Purchase
Reservations
Vouchers- After successfully booking, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will contain your voucher(s) and all necessary information regarding the service you have purchased, or the receipt of the product you have purchased. Clients must immediately check the accuracy of the details in the confirmation (such as date, name, destination, etc.) and inform Athens Historic Experiences of any discrepancies within 72 hours of booking. After this deadline, no discrepancies or errors will be considered, and no refunds or amendments will be accepted.
You must present the authentic, original Athens Historic Experiences voucher at the start of your tour. We are unable to honor or redeem your booking without a valid Athens Historic Experiences voucher. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your booking was not successful. If you have been charged for a service or product but have not received a confirmation email, please contact us at:

Coupons, promotional codes and gift cards must be applied PRIOR TO finalizing any booking or purchase. We are not able to apply any retroactive discounts.
Promotional codes: These are valid until their specified expiration date. If no expiration date is provided, they are valid until the end of the calendar year in which they were issued.
The services and products offered by Athens Historic Experiences are valid only for the dates and times displayed on
athenshistoricexperiences.com. Athens Historic Experiences is not liable or responsible for any information not directly provided by us. We bear no responsibility for tickets purchased from non-authorized sources.
Payments
In order for a reservation to be confirmed, full payment of the total amount for the service or tour is required.
Please always check and verify that the cost and service displayed in your shopping cart are correct before finalizing payment when booking through the website.
Payment for the services and products offered by Athens Historic Experiences can be made by credit card or—when agreed upon by Athens Historic Experiences—via wire transfer or any other prearranged payment method.
Guests using a credit card accept all fees associated with their purchase. All bookings are processed in EURO. Please check your bank’s policies for any hidden fees or charges before booking our services or purchasing our products.
Unless otherwise specified, prices listed for private tours represent the minimum charge, regardless of the number of participants. For group tours, prices are listed per person.
All prices for products and services on this website include all applicable local taxes.
Service fees do not include additional costs such as admission fees, travel expenses, etc., even if these are necessary to carry out the program—unless explicitly stated otherwise.
All prices for services and products on our website are listed in EURO, unless otherwise specified. Exchange rates are provided automatically by the booking platforms used.
Terms of Purchase
By using this website or any of our services or products, you agree that all relations between clients, partners, and Athens Historic
Experiences are governed by Greek law. Any disputes, claims, or controversies will be resolved in Greek courts and in accordance with Greek law.
By making a purchase, you agree that, for any liability related to the purchase of a service or product, Athens Historic Experiences is not responsible for any amount of damages exceeding the amount paid for the applicable service or product.
By making a purchase, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country in which the transaction takes place. You also agree that you are purchasing our services and products solely for personal use, and not for export, resale, or any other commercial purpose.
Athens Historic Experiences has separate terms and conditions governing the resale of its services and products. Only third parties with a written agreement as an official reseller are authorized to resell Athens Historic Experiences’ products.
Athens Historic Experiences reserves the right to change the prices of its services and products at any time prior to the confirmation of your booking or purchase.
We also reserve the right to modify the price and terms under which any product or service is offered, at any time and without prior notice.
This includes offering services at a reduced price either permanently or as part of a promotion, without any obligation to apply the new prices or terms retroactively.
Athens Historic Experiences reserves the right to deny booking, use, or access to any service or product to individuals who violate its Terms & Conditions, fail to comply with its policies, or breach Greek law. We may also take legal action and/or report such violations to law enforcement authorities if necessary.
Without limiting any other provision of the Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to deny access to and use of any service to any person for any reason, or for no reason at all. This includes, but is not limited to, breaches of any representations, warranties, covenants contained in the Terms & Conditions, or applicable laws or regulations.
Athens Historic Experiences reserves the right to cancel, modify, or replace any tour or service at any time, for any reason, without penalty—other than issuing a full refund. Such changes may occur due to site or museum accessibility issues, unforeseen events affecting traffic (including strikes, demonstrations, marches, marathons, sporting events, etc.), disruptions in public areas, adverse weather conditions (such as storms, floods, or snow), or other unexpected circumstances. In these cases, if the alternative options we offer do not meet your satisfaction, we will provide a full refund of the original purchase price.

Athens Historic Experiences does not accept any liability for lost profits, unavailability of services and products for purchase and use, or loss of business.
Cancelation Policy- Modifications/amendments
We strive to provide a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all our guests. To maintain the highest standards — the ones we ourselves aspire to — we offer only a limited number of tours per day, led by our carefully selected top tour guides.
As a result, we have only a limited number of positions available, which unfortunately often means we have to turn down many enthusiastic applicants. It also gives us little flexibility to accommodate certain requests. All requests are subject to availability.
Nevertheless, we understand that our guests may sometimes face mitigating circumstances, and plans can change — whether by choice or necessity. In order to accommodate such changes while maintaining the quality of service for all our guests and ensuring the sustainability of our operations, we have established the following cancellation policy. Please read it carefully:
Booking Changes
If you wish to change your booking, we kindly ask that you notify us by phone or email at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour or excursion. This gives us the best chance to find a suitable solution in time.
If that is not possible, we require that any change requests be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled start time. Please note that no changes can be accepted within 24 hours of your tour or excursion.
Due to their policies, purchased tickets of archaeological, museums, galleries and monuments are not refundable. In the case of change of your reservation, you will have to purchase new tickets.
Subject to availability, we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you submit your request at least 24 hours in advance and we are unable to make the change due to limited availability in our other tours, we will offer you either:
- A gift card of equal value
or
- A full refund for that booking.
If you need to cancel your booking, a full refund is available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of your tour or excursion.
Please note: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund, regardless of the reason.
All refunds will be processed at least 4 weeks after the date of cancellation. For credit card refunds 3% commission is kept, in order to cover credit card transaction fees and related costs, when the cancellation is done by the guest.
Tickets purchased for archaeological sites, museums, galleries, or monuments are non-refundable due to the policies of those institutions.
To protect yourself from potential cancellations or non-refundable expenses, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Please note that we are
not responsible for any losses if your selected travel insurance policy does not cover cancellations, delays, illness, or medical expenses.
Late Arrivals / No Shows
Due to strict time slot systems implemented at major attractions to manage high visitor volumes, we strongly recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of your tour or excursion. Our groups depart promptly at the scheduled time.
As we operate a limited number of small group tours, we cannot guarantee participation if you arrive late. We also may not be able to reassign you to another group on the same day or a different day.
For group tours or excursions—particularly those involving transportation by bus—it is usually logistically impossible to join the group after the bus has departed the meeting point.
Please note:
Late arrivals, regardless of the reason (including difficulty finding the meeting point or unforeseen circumstances), are not eligible for a refund.
No-shows are also not eligible for a refund, under any circumstances.
Purchased Tickets:
Tickets purchased for archaeological sites, museums, galleries, or monuments are non-refundable, in accordance with the policies of those institutions.
Cancellations by Athens Historic Experiences

Force Majeure
We disclaim responsibility for any cancellations, delays, or changes resulting from adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to: illness or personal difficulties, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdowns, government restrictions, war and/or terrorism, defects in any transport vehicle, or accidents.
Regardless of the circumstances, our tours will proceed whenever possible. If a site, attraction, or scheduled visit is partially closed or inaccessible due to a force majeure event, the tour will still take place.
If a site, attraction, or visit is completely closed due to such events — including strikes or unforeseen closures — Athens Historic Experiences will make every effort to contact guests as soon as possible. In such cases, we will offer a suitable alternative, reschedule the service, or provide a refund, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the company.
To protect yourself from potential cancellations or non-refundable expenses, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Please note that we are not responsible for any losses if your selected travel insurance policy does not cover cancellations, delays, illness, or medical expenses.
For a booking, purchase or other request to be considered successful, a confirmation email must be sent by us first.

Athens Historic Experiences grants a limited right of access to this website and to the content and materials contained herein for purely informative and non-commercial purposes.
No one is allowed to share any content used during Athens Historic Experiences’ services or sent to them by Athens Historic Experiences with any third party, nor use it for professional purposes, without written permission from Athens Historic Experiences. Similarly, no one is allowed to use any pictures or photos from this website without written permission from Athens Historic Experiences.
